01/07/08 - CUP DRAWS

The draws for the opening rounds of the FA Cup, FA Vase and FA Youth Cup were made today (Tuesday).

In the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round our first team will travel to fellow Sydenhams Wessex Premier League club Cowes Sports on Saturday 16th August 2008. The winner will host either Milton United or Lymington Town in the Preliminary Round which will be played on Saturday 30th August 2008.

Town have to travel away in the FA Vase Second Qualifying Round after receiving a First Qualifying Round bye. This time the opponents are Aylesbury Vale and the match will take place on Saturday 20th September 2008.

The youth team have been handed a home draw against Marlow Town in the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round with the winner set to entertain Basingstoke Town in the First Qualifying Round.

A date for the FA Youth Cup match will be announced shortly.
